Countryside Haven Retreat with Pool and Deck

It was ok. Positive: I liked the pool and deck. There was plenty space for a family retreat. Negative: I didn’t like that the place had a lot of cob webs on the outside, widows and sliding doors. I didn’t like that it had a projector room with a projector that didn’t work. The oven was a mission to get it started, had to call for a manual, when it should be as simple as just turning a nob to get it started. I didn’t get instructions as to where I can find the lock box with the keys, I had to call and when we located it, the code that was provided didn’t work. We accessed the house from an open ranch door so we didn’t use a key. A lot of things that did not work and unnecessary to have like a trampoline that greets you before entering the property that is covered in algae, spa that is out of order, even if it ain’t mentioned in listing. The cleaners should use cleaning products to wipe down benches ect so when you enter the home it smells clean, unfortunately it smelt like cat urine and very dusty like the house has never been aired out. During our stay it was very disruptive having lawn moving crew mowing the lawns, after I had requested to have the lawns maintained before we arrive. The bed frames are not strong enough, the were made to easily break, almost like an investment to keep the deposit. Carpets already had stains. Chicken poop everywhere, there is a chicken roaming around and pooping on the lawns and the deck. Over all the house was old and had some ok renovation done.

Amazing Family Staycation Positive: Such a big beautiful home! I, my partner and kids enjoyed our stay it had everything we needed to chill, cook and clean up after our self. We had fun in the pool even thou it was raining we still went for a dip the kids made the most of it they also had fun on the flying fox and playing out on the big lawns. Thanks to the lovely host they were welcoming and great at communicating, check in and check out instructions were clear. We will definitely be back Negative: Nothing

Superb getaway within auckland. Perfect for a group of 10adults Positive: Excellent location with great views Negative: Beds frames were not maintained well.

very good, but could be better Positive: Interior facilities were very good. Pizza oven was fun. Pool was a bonus. When gas ran out, it was replaced very promptly. Negative: Several items within the grounds were broken and/or not usable. A trampoline, a basketball hoop, a swing, a fire-pit with a circle of log-seats, a spa. Apart from the spa, they could have all been removed and we wouldn't have missed them, but the fact they were all there, broken was disappointing.
