Hobson's Apartment with Pool and View

Ok, but will not be staying there again as for the reasons above Positive: Location was in the CBD with good shops and eating facilities close by. Negative: There was a lot of homeless people and ice users hanging out the front and trying to follow us into the foyer. Also having no air conditioning was tough. The layout was very squeezy and kitchen in the doorway was not practical. Having only 1 key was very inconvenient with 4 adults.

This suited our needs and wants perfectly. Great location close to tourist attractions and food places. Positive: The location and space for all of us. We had great views. Negative: The lockbox containing the room key was at a different location to the apartment.

Short but good seeing the family. Positive: Having 3 bedrooms to accommodate my family was the reason for booking this apartment. The location was good to meet extended family who were staying at sky city. The weather was great. We were very lucky. Negative: While we never felt unsafe. We felt despondent for the homeless that were close by.

Our stay at this property was very good. The location for the CBD was perfect, with plenty of options for Food and Drinks. The hosts were very communicative and provided great information to assist us, as this was our first visit to New Zealand.Picking up the key and security card was a minor issue, as it was stored in a location in a parking garage around the corner from the entrance to the property. Once we had that figured out, it was quite smooth.There is a small grocery store beside the property entrance that proved useful for staples, Bread, milk and fresh fruit.The one thing to be aware of, is there is a Mission across the street. This means there are quite a few “ unhoused” in the area. I mention this as a point of information, rather than an issue as we had no concerns or problems at all.All in all We would highly recommend this property.
