Modern Seaside Delight w Parking just Steps to Beach

Enjoyed our stay and our family had a great time! Positive: Property was in a great location, it was clean, warm and tidy. Negative: Lots of stairs, however appreciated that it was proofed for younger children which was helpful.

Great location, lovely clean place. The air conditioning situation was not ideal, as it kept activating the fuse breaker and would need to be reset. There is one mini-split in the living room area, and one in an upstairs bedroom. We had a few very hot days, and those who stayed in the downstairs bedroom and the room upstairs without a/c had a hard time staying cool even with fans on and open windows because the roller shades would make loud clacking noises in the wind if the windows were open. Even the room with a/c was still quite hot because the shades are black vinyl and end up heating the rooms up whether or not the windows are open. Shades open meant no privacy, unfortunately, so it was rather inconvenient to try to keep windows open as we wished.

Beautiful Townhouse Positive: Loved the location. Property was very well equipped, very clean and modern. Rooms are huge ! Each bedroom has it's our bathroom. Very handy for 3 senior ladies. Negative: My only point would be the furniture in the lounge. Sofa isn't very comfortable unless you stack cushions behind you and there were no armchairs. Young people would love the beanbags but not practical for 60 - 70 year olds 😄

This was our second stay at this property as great location in Orewa. All bedrooms are ensuite, the kitchen is well equipped and modern and the apartment is spotless.
