Sunny Hilltop Red Bach w Lake and Mountain Views

It is worst of the property we had seen in any of our stays through booking.com anywhere in world Positive: The location was not far from the lake.The keys were accessible as per instructions received Negative: The proeprty has serious maintenace issues. When we checked in a about 4.40 pm on 24 January 26, we found a) Upper floor 3 beds room's windows latch was broken and there was no way to close the window when it was too windy on that day in Taupo. We contacted the property management team and sent photos as well as videos but they did not help in sending someone to fix it. There was no help available throughout our stay. b) Groundfloor single room had no power in the only power plug available in room - when contacted the management team, they advised to try the heater on ground surface in the lounge. Out of two power points in the lounge, only one was working in which multiple power leads were plugged in - when we tested the heater, it worked in lounge only, not in the bedroom ( we were not expected to sleep in lounge). Then due to so many devices in single power point, it tripped - we advised the mangement team but no help. For every issue, they asked for photos only and gave instructions which did not work. The other power point in the lounge was not working. c) then we shifted our one of the guest to upper floor double bedrrom where it was very dusty, no power as well as the stair light had gone d) Ground floor TV was not working as its HDMI cable was out and not plugged in anywhere. When we complained, we were told to press "Home" button on remote whereas there was no such button on groundloor TV e) Due to power outage in lounge, Internet router stopped working - so none of the 6 no. guests had wifi available thoughout. when complained, they asked us to shift router to some other powerpoint ( there was none except one only working in downstairs double bedroom) - it was not possible as you require fibre connection also which was available only in the lounge f) No electrician came to fix the power issue - only at 11.
